Matthew Devereux plays a solo performance at this years Folk Holidays Festival on Monday 26th July. After The Pale’s triumphant performance at the festival last year, Matthew’s appearance this year has been much anticipated. It will take place at Gallery 12 (Blacksmith’s Forge) in the grounds of Náměšť castle – see Folk Holidays programme of events for show times.

Náměšť nad Oslavou is the host town of this amazing 8 day festival set in the picturesque heart of Central Europe. The outstanding musical performances by a wide and varied range of Czech and International artists are the apogee of an incredible week of arts, crafts and other workshops open to the public. It truly has to be experienced to be appreciated. Hope you can make it.

The Pale have recently recorded a session for RTE Radio 1′s flagship arts programme “Arena”. It’s hosted by Sean Rocks and it airs every weekday at 7.30 pm.

The Pale’s session will air on the evening of the 15th Sept and you can tune in by going to RTE’s website at the following link: -

Tracks recorded include “You Play Indie Music”, ”Lights Out Boys” and a special version of the programme’s theme tune(!) along with a conversation between Sean and Matthew about The Pale’s past, present and future.
